NL 1/2
Hero is on the button with 88 This is a stable day game that features 1 wild player. The wild player is not in the hand. Hero has 200. Villain has 150. Villian is an OMC. However, Hero is aware that he's made some really odd plays in the past for an OMC. Some of the other OMCs regard him as being "not all there."
Villain is in MP and raises to 10. It folds to Hero on button who calls the 10. There are no other callers.
POT $23
Flop A89
Villain leads out for 14.
Hero has no spade. His gut tells him to call and hope for a board pair. Is this too nitty of thinking from Hero? Should Hero reraise here? Any advice is appreciated. The flush boards put Hero in defensive mode maybe too often. Hero calls.

POT $51
Turn 2
Villain now bets $25. Hero????

Easy flop call. Do not raise.

I suspected that he already had a small flush and that's why he kept betting at it. He's not a true OMC though. I mean the guy is 73 or so but he's not an ABC player I suppose. I don't know him all that well though.

Call flop, call turn, call river.

If river is a spade and V checks to you I would bet $75 trying to get him off of AA or 99, or QJss

Very sound advice. I definitely don't bluff rivers enough.
