In this spot I would usually fire a cbet about 1/3 pot as well. But I don't really mind checking back. It protects his check raange and can catch bluffs later.
I forgot to clarify that this is my rule IP.
Villains won't be able to profitably defend versus 1/3 sizing otf...they have to defend 75% of an already way too wide range.
There aren't too many thinking players at 2/5, so it's not a huge deal. I do it less versus the better opponent, though. Because the vast majority of 2/5 players are those who defend way too wide, there are virtually no boards which they have a range advantage on.
