Just wanted some quick thoughts on a hand I had last night and couldn't figure out if I played correctly.
This was in $200NL 10 handed in a straddle pot
Vil 1 (80BB) losing fish in the game. Has routinely been showing up with suited big little hands, and ace mid kickers for raises. Has some knowledge of poker, but some really bad leaks.
Vil 2 (straddler ~200BB) is a looser player. I see him splashing occasionally in pots w speculative hands but is generally going to have odds to do so. Has shown some bluffs in good spots and is definitely not afraid to give action. I don't necessarily exclude steals from his range in this spot, and definitely think he raises for value, I guess, with hands like A10, KQ possibly even KJ and QJ in this spot.
Folds to Hero in EP ~200BB, Raises to $10 w 5
5
, looking to start a cheap multiway pot, essentially to setmine.
Vil 1 calls, from a few spots later in MP, I think two more callers from Button and SB.
Vil 2 Raises to $60
Thoughts here on calling vs just folding, and what is our game plan when calling?
As played, Hero Calls $60 expecting folds behind usually from presumably weak calling (as opposed to 3betting) range from people behind; also looking forward to having position vs Vil 2 deep for all the reasons that that is good, including picking up his cbets on say 10 high, or J high flops, and also being able to bluff him off slightly bigger pairs if he reacts weakly to scare cards. I'm pretty sure at this point that my image is solid enough that I will get at least some credit.
Vil 1 ends up calling, which surprised me. Everyone else folds.
Flop 2

Pot ~$220
Vil 2 checks... Given everything, Hero??
(Post flop Vil 1 stack ~$90, Vil 2 ~$340)
