Hypernit I like your posts, but I don't know quite what you're looking for here?

You've been around enough to know a passive fish river raise is nearly always a strong hand, certainly at a higher percentage than you were getting odds for, so what advice were you looking for?

Just thought it was a cool spot since he’s a passive fish but he’s repping NOTHING

Even the fish bluff once in a long while. The right decision is to fold, even if this time you were good. He's never bluffing enough in this situation to make calling +EV.

how is he repping nothing? A top pair'ish hand HU stations off and binks river, whats so hard to believe about that? He certainly cant put you on anything so it makes sense he'd just call down and get there.

oooohhhh damnit my reading comprehension was bad, for some reason I thought it went b/c b/c. In that case I agree with your river call, it's one of those spots where a pair of 8's in V's hand probably doesnt check back since a 10 doesnt typically hit an UTG cbet range, so now we're relying on him having ONLY got lucky to hit the river which I'm not afraid of.
