Live 5/5 game, I'm new to all the players at the table , but I've been playing very tight due to being card dead . Haven't been to showdown in 2 hrs.

V1 bought in for $300 and worked his stack up to $900, saw him chasing draws and calling a lot of raises PF in all positions

V2 is a rec player, calling station , donks a lot and does not like to fold pair or draws.

V1 - 900
V2 - 700
Hero - 1050

Advice on all streets please ?

V2 limps EP. MP raises 20. MP 2 calls. I raise 100. V1 from Button asks how much I'm playing and thinks and calls. V2 calls.

3 way.

Flop: 652 rainbow.

V2 leads 150. I call. V1 raises to $400.

V2 calls quickly without thinking at all.

Hero needs to call $250.

Pot: ~$660

Hero has $800 left.

Hero shoves or folds ??

Thanks !

By my count the pot has 1250. 300 total preflop. Plus 950. For the 2 400 dollar bets plus the 150 you call.
But call if they hold a set or kk aa then good game. I feel like one has to have Ak and the other jacks or 10s. Just because i feel like aces or kings shoves a raise to 400...

Not a fun spot at all. I hate when I 3bet and get cold called.

OTF, the pot is $340 (OP, please included pot sizes for each street in the future...makes it easier for everyone).

Let's just say it was $900 ES pre. That means you have $800 left, which makes an SPR of 2.35. I think the play was to shove over the lead. You'd be happy to take $490 down right there with likely the best hand. No point in just calling since pot would be $640 OTT with $550 left if it were just you and V2.

As played I think you just have to GII. Cold call 3bet ranges pre tend to be squarely JJ/QQ/AKs. Sometimes they'll have KK+ but those hands would generally reraise instead of calling and risking several more callers. If they have it they have it...it would have been the same thing if we shipped flop and they called.

shove over V2's lead. You cannot fold overpair with effective SPR <3
