I am new to game... should have tight to no image... I am in SB

55 yo Philippine limp gun on 800, 1 other limp i 35 AA in SB (no Ah), he call, limper fold

I have 500 to start, I'm new to game, haven't seen this guy before- I'd think tight- has that seasoned middle aged Asian look

Flop j107xxh

40/call

Turn 5h
Hero size?
100/call kinda quick

River 8x
Hero?

thoughts on whether it's too thin to bet river? This run out favors his range?

Bet 2/3 otf, 2/3 ott, and 1/2 psb otr

You want to get value from an old man who can't lay down TPTK. J10 is in his range, but not as often as TPTK.

However without history of his limping range it's hard to put him on a range...

I prefer c/c to betting. I think it is questionable whether V calls a third barrel with a J and he has a ton of busted draws in his range that he might decide to bluff with on river. Absent big physical tells I'm not c/f here.

x/f river.

Betting seems like setting $ on fire unless villain is a verified pay-off wizard.
Don't like c/c much either. The board is super coordinated and 5/5 regs who are capable of turning showdownable hands like QJ or AhTh into a bluff are few and far between. That basically only leaves 16 KQ combo's as a potential bluff, compared to god knows how many 2pair+ combo's.

If we were playing lower stakes I'd opt to check/call the river, but I think betting will fold out 2pairs that have us beat. I'd like to use our tight image.

However I can see where you guys are coming from.

16 combos! That's a ton of combos and certainly more value combos than he has after calling two streets with no raise. It isn't like he would ever play 77 or J10 this way.

K9s,Q9s,J9s,T9s are 16 combo's also. Give him like half the offsuit combo's and we are up to 40. I'm not sure how we ever make a +EV call here.

If he's loose enough to limp/call all these combos he could have literally ATC. My game is pretty loose and I still don't see people limp/calling and calling two barrels with these hands. Q9 seems most realistic option but I doubt he has all these combos in his range. KQ is by far the single most likely holding he has here imo. He could certainly have some others but KQ makes the most sense.

Sweet. Nothing like a gross runout when you're sitting on AA in the sb.

Tough spot. I'll cop out and say x/soulread gl gl

x/f here is almost always best
second best is bet small/fold
third best is check/call
worst is bet/call

Haven't looked at the hand got distracted by the lack of reads. You always have an image, even if it is just the way you are dressed or your age. Can pretty much guarantee no one will give you any good advice without knowing game flow/reads. They are the most important part of live poker
