Pretty average hand, maybe kinda weird. Looking for a quick check on my flop & turn line mostly.

1st hand since I sat down. $600 cap, $590 eff stacks. I did post blinds and folded all hands so far.

V1: I've played with him before. Pro cyclist or something like that. From previous sessions I recall him being ABC TAGish. When I first sat down though, I saw him make a river call for ~1/2 PSB on a JJ8xx board and lose to TT. From his expression and verbal comment, I think he had 99. Didn't see rest of hand play out.

V2: Total unknown. MAAG.

Hero opens $25 w. KK in UTG over V1's straddle. For some reason missed that there was a stroodle going, hence the sizing. V2 calls on BTN and V1 calls his straddle.

$79

Q53

x, Hero $50, V2 $100, V1 flats, Hero flats.

$378

7

checks through... wtf, both on a draw?

$378

5

V1 $215, Hero..?

You should have reraised flop with the intention of getting it in on the flop or on the turn, esspecially after V1 flats and there's all that extra dead money in the pot. I also presume MAAG means middle aged black guy? Regardless, he's unlikely to play a set this way. Even readless, this is heavily weighted toward top pair trying to "see where he's at", and occasionally a draw raising so he can check back the turn for cheap.

V2's hand looks like a flush draw that's trying to buy a free turn and river card. If V1 had a set I believe he would raise the flop since 2 others have already shown aggression. Since V1 is a tag player I think he also has a flush draw or AQ or KQ. Therefore, I would shove the flop. If we shove the flop that would put $844 in the pot and V2 would need to call $465 more and would be getting 1.8:1 on a call so he'd have to be good about 36% of the time, which is about the equity he would have with a non A flush draw. If one villain has a hand like 7c6c or 6c5c then they have about 50% equity.

Shove flop. Why in the world are you just flatting?

I was planning on shoving if V1 folded, but in the last session I played with him, he seemed sort of rock-ish & I was actually concerned that something like KQ/AQ or NFD would be the bottom of his range. He struck me as the type that would flat a set... though I really should have thought that the top of his range isn't really that many combos anyway & it's not like he'd flat w. them always.

'preciate y'all for 'em comments.

actually I like the call OTF. We can Donkshove (about 475 into 375) good turns and get away cheap if the club draw hits.
