River is a call, but am I liking it? Never.

Fwiw, your dinky sizing pre-flop is the mistake of this hand. It's a 5/5/10 game and you raising 4x over 2 limpers. I like the sizing if you're like 30bb deep and you have an actual hand.
This is 5/5 not 5/5/10? UTG limps and UTG+1 calls and he bets 40, which is 8x bb, not 4x? Not sure how you got this so wrong

I wouldn't call anyone a fish just because they limp w/ hands like TT in full-ring, there's a lot of reasons someone might elect to do that. Arguably you played fishier raising a known nit's UTG limp w/ just A9s when you had the perfect position to just take a flop. As played, you call since he can have some flushes you beat and you're getting a good price.

We talked about the hand away from the table. You guys are all right thought I shouldn't have reacted the way I did. I was just on tilt losing a big pot

I'm not sure what he's refering to as the bring in though.

The pot was 130 on the flop, 40 x3 with two 5 dollar blinds.

Bring in means you have to pay $10 to get in the hand (as opposed to $5). A lot of time when it's written 5/5/10, people think it's a straddle.

It's nice posting this broght something to my attention that I already knew but made me realize it more than ever is that I have some serious mental game issues. I shouldn't of said anything to him at the table or away from the table. Fact of the matter is I put $585 in the pot drawing dead. Should of just tapped the table and said nice hand. Learned from him and the hand. Moved on. I'm young 22 years old, have a lot to learn. Thanks everyone for the input

As in the limper would be "limping" for 10?

I see - thanks for the clarification.

That guy won the minimum of you in a setup situation.

T77ss is an incredible good flop for your hand. The Reg isn`t limp/c with a lot of sevens, l/c TT is unlikely and there is only one combo of 77.

OTT you get your gin card and both players call a small bet -> perfect scenario.

The Reg leads out on the river, which is a strong play after c/c two streets but his sizing is just bad because the fish will call with a Flush anyway.

If I were in the Regs shoes postflop:

lead flop 75 (assuming 2 players call)
lead turn 325
lead river (if fish called as well) 1.1k

.. The flush OTT is the perfect card for a FH and he has to get value out of this setup. By playing it the way he did, he won a decent pot, but he missplayed the hand.

If I had the nut flush against a good, solid reg who is slightly nitty and he bet this way, I could find a fold on the river pretty easily.

It`s mainly to target the fish. But people love to call way to much in general, if their draws come in OTT or OTR.
