Im way more scared of a cold call than I am of a 3 bet from the sb on the flop here. If he is good enough to know how strong a call looks to me then he might just shove his nutted range trying to disguise his made hand as a draw. Still though, it feels like he is relying on his fold equity vs overpairs and playing his draw fast here. Call and gii on a safe turn.

I think playing on phone is the same as eating at the table. When someone is doing either it means a pretty strong hand ... or draw. I think the fact that we have an upset customer, probably folding a flush/combo draw, that it really takes away from V range to c/r with.

I agree we give him credit for knowing we have Qx, so he is either also Qx or drawing huge to a 5 card hand where we also have to give him credit that he knows some of his outs might be missing, regardless of his holdings. Giving all this credit narrows his holdings down a bunch ... AQ/KQ/JQ/JJ/QT (maybe). I don't really like that range so I would hope to find a fold here. I fully believe that he would flat any of those hands from the blinds at this table, especially if he views Hero as tight.

Hope to fold, but know in my heart of hearts I make this call some also. GL
