Villain(2k, MP+2/HJ?): Young scruffy caucasian male on stocky side who just topped off after getting it in with OESFD on the flop and shanking... Plays 25/50 and 5/10 PLO

Hero(2k, BB): Young, asian, ****-talking, pot-smoking, LSD-taking, molly-selling goon...

We are friends... LOL

Guy in EP opens for $40, my friend raises to $105; I look down at KK and I make it $290.. Folds to my friend and he makes it $680..

What do i do here?

Ship it...it's your buddy...if he has AA, then ask him to flip a coin for double or nothing later.

I don't play this high...

so it's 290 more to you with 520 in there and 1700 behind... Well, 6betting is obviously out of the question this deep.

If it were 100bb effective, and you think he could be tilting after a) just dusting off a buyin, AND b) not to be overlooked, is playing lower than his normal stakes, I'd be fine with just shoving kings for 100 bb. But for $1000 maybe I'd not want to live with running kings into aces preflop.

As played, for those 2 reasons, this deep, I'm continuing with KK. We have position, I'd flat the 5bet and play poker. And maybe top set-mine.

It's nice to know you friends weight and your side job and recreational drug use, but I'm more interested in the table dynamics. More precisely, you and your friends 3bet, 4bet, and 5 bet ranges. Until you offer up said reads it's impossible to offer you an advice. Btw, unless my perceived 4betting range is polarized I would just flat the 3bet and play some poker with position, the 2nd best starting hand, and an SPR of 6ish.

Omg hahaha.

$2K deep at $5/10 is not deep at all. It's what most players buy in for.

I just rip it in and feel ok about it. He's just as likely to have AKo as AA here. Seriously.

Tempted to move this to Medium-High Stakes FR, but really, with V being your friend, you should have much better reads on his range, and should be able to tell us his perception of your cold 4-bet range, etc. MHSFR would prob hate that more than we do.

Locked, and you can re-post with better reads either place.
