Hero is UTG with effective stack of $95.
Villian is in the big blind, has been on an absolute heater. Have played with him once before where he moves all in a lot. In this session he moved all in on me with 96 after flopping 2 pair. I folded a pair of sevens to this all in.

Game is incredibly passive, most flops go 4-5 ways all limps. Hero is pretty tight aggressive, have played 4 of 40 hands to this point, have not limped or called a limped in any pot I played.

I'd call. I put him on a shove range with a few bluffs like straight draw, or bottom pair. Even if he has 7x, you're still not drawing dead. You have AA, and he shoved 4 times so far. Really can't fold here. I just think folding here is way too passive. What board would be an easy call for you?

Easy call with the villain description. You'll lose this about 40% of the time so don't feel bad if he shows up with trip 7s in this case.

Thanks. I called and he did show a 7 and I ended up loosing. I'm a new player and I studied this spot a little bit and it looked to me it was a must call but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't justifying it to myself when it was actually bad.

A hand later the guy looked at me and said "If you would have went all-in preflop you wouldn't have lost". I smile at this, I guess I just need to be patient and I'll get my money back.
