Assuming his squeeze range is a lot wider than QQ+/AK I would 4bet as well, but probably slightly bigger here, to ~120. You're in position and he's only 126bb deep, though, so you don't have to go much bigger.
I really hate checking behind the flop and turn and then hating life and wanting to fold when he bets, so I would start by betting 1/4 pot on the flop with my whole range.
Would you GII if he jams over my 4b? I was raising to a size that should he 5b I can still find a fold with QQ - also, the live read I have on him is (which is quite brief) - he is quite new to the table but he seems to be on the slightly looser side - he jammed over my 3b of £45 once with a stack of £185 with AQ and I snapped with AK - He reloaded £200 and doubled up
Hero's image is also slightly loose as Hero got a stream of AQ+ hands in quite short consecutive sequence so it is possible that V thinks I was raising light
I think given my image at then my 4b is profitable
On your last point, I agree that I should definitely down bet on the flop and proceed from there since I would have a lot more of hands that has at least one A in my hand when I 4b
