V - Button ($900): Middle aged Asian. Everyone in the room knows him. He is a $2/5 pro, who is playing $1/2 lately because the BBJ is enormous right now. He plays tight, not all that aggressive. I would say he is somewhat nitty, but I think he plays a pretty solid game. Probably not bluffing much, but capable of making correct plays when it's called for.

Hero - MP ($185) - I've played quite a few hours over the last month with this guy. I'm sure he views me as TAG. Haven't been involved in really any noteworthy pots together.

Pre Flop:

Hero is dealt AT in MP. Folds around, Hero opens to $10, Everyone calls :S.

Flop ($60): 862

Checks to V on the button who bets $25, SB calls. Hero check raises to $75, V 3-bets all in. Hero? ($110 behind, pot is effectively $345)

I probably just dump the A10o pre, seeing as how we have less than 100 bigs and we're not in great position. Plus, A10o is just a tough hand to play, particularly with a somewhat shallow stack.

AP, I hate the check raise. What were you trying to accomplish? You open the betting up for him to shove his stack back at you and get you in the problem you're in now. Further, I wouldn't think you'd like the idea of toying with the big stack, who just happens to be a good TAG.

I would've never got to the point you did, the way you did, but I think you have to call with half your stack in the middle.

Obvious call is obvious, but I would have just bet out for a smallish c-bet in the first place. Looking to get calls from weak one-card flush draws that we can stack when another club comes and that will fold when it doesn't. Likely folding to a raise, depending on sizing, who makes, who comes along, etc.

Pre, be happy everyone called. Winning hand possibilities are fairly low, so the more the merrier for this hand.

Flop, I would have let Villain lead the betting, calling along. The most your raise could do is fold other players, and you are left alone with Villain.

By simply calling, you get more money in the pot because the first caller generates a second, third, maybe all callers that called the flop. Perhaps closer to the 4:1 on your money which your flopped hand wants, rather than 1:1 or 2:1.
