Game is 1/2, table is very aggressive and loose. People reraise ALOT and it feels like a 5/5 game more than a 2/2. Stacks are very deep.

mp calls, hijack 3bet to 22 (usual sizing at this table), SB calls, I 3bet from BB with JJ. hijack calls.

HU to a flop of 89T rainbow. I decide to check. i worry i'd get reraised 5x and get into a tough spot. I think cbet is probably better but the aggressive play made me play tighter. he checks.

turn is another J. We improve to a set but there's 4 cards to a straight on board. Play goes check check.

River is another 10, so we nearly have the nuts here with a full house.

I fire 50, pot is 174. I think I could've fired bigger in case he had the 7 or the jack. My thinking was to get a call from any set/two pair or better. maybe get raised from straights.

what do you guys think?

Stack sizes would be nice, perhaps a bit more info also. Table is LAG but specific V reads?

Bet flop. Check turn. Bet river. Really not worried about being raised when we have OP and OESD.

Sorry about that, recently started writing down hands to myself so I forgot to put stack sizes. can't be specific but the stacks we're quite large (200BB at least)

The Hijack was one of the more active players at the table, very sticky and rarely see him folding. Alot of reraises from him.

I hate the fact that this LAG table made me play scared poker, how do you usually cope with these kind of tables?

River is terrible. Straights aren't raising, but they are calling pot sized bets.

As you mentioned, a cbet on the flop seems better. You have certainly have equity against a raise from the HJ.

Short of J42r, what flop were you looking for here? LAGgy V can call a bet on this flop with pretty much any piece, like any pair, KJ, AJ, AQ, whatever. TBH I'm pretty happy to just get the money in on this flop against a LAG, you almost can't be crushed against anything but you can be crushing, and if they're a LAG they'll show up with AT, KJ, 87, whatever they started with here.
