3 streets of value with bottom set on a flush draw board? 3 streets of value with bottom set on a flush draw board?

H is rec playing bit more loose passive this night but has solid thinking player image from V. V is a tight regular who's doing it for his job, value-heavy range when he shoots. H is typically able to pick small pots off from v with cbets.

hand: 77 (no clubs)
stack: 500 (v covers)
blinds: 2.5/2.5
position: co
live straddle

Pre: we get total of 6 players.
Flop ackc7c (30): checked to h who bets 40: mp v calls.
Turn: 8x (110): v checks. H bets 100. v calls.
River: jx (310): v checks. H???

With what could this V flat two PSBs on this board that he wouldn't raise with preflop? H has barreled twice so H reps a set, small flush or the nut combo draw.

I'm checking behind on river and expecting to be shown a cooler flush. What could V pay off with that doesn't beat H here except perhaps KxJc/KxQc and A7 (perhaps just 9 total combos) and these would be pretty light calls. A river bet seems like it would target too narrow of a range for value. And if V xr jams, H would be in a helluva tight spot.

Sometimes V has a flush, other times V has a hand like AQ with the Qc. You aren't getting the flush to fold, and it's unlikely that V will call 3 streets with just a pair of aces and a missed flush draw.

Also the pot was unraised except the straddle. V can have any SC of clubs or one gapper of clubs, or even two gapper of clubs. This makes for a decent amount of flush combos that V can have.

And what would you do if you bet $150 on the river and V shoves? If you plan on bet/folding, please don't bet. Don't give V a chance to bluff you off your set.

I would check and see his hand.

I don't like the big bets. I bet $20 on flop and about 2/3 on turn. As played, I check behind on river. He's rarely folding a flush but he is folding most other holdings that you beat.

Which situations would you consider over-betting? Same board but FD instead of 3-flush?

My thinking for the over-bet is it's 6way so I'm trying to make it expensive to draw the 4-flush. As a retrospect, over-bet could also make my hand look like a small flush which would make me get more money in if the board paired and I was facing q high flush. The latter part is probably bit spewy?

Spoiler:
h checks behind. v shows aa.

I honestly rarely over-bet. I just don't see the point. Maybe if I have the nuts and it's easy for someone to have the second nuts and I know they won't fold and it's the only way to get stacks in, but that's about it. I don't want them folding their K-high flush draw if I have a small flush -- I want them to call with the incorrect odds.

I am not doing it here because they aren't folding anything that has us beat. FWIW, I don't think he was ever folding to a river bet.
