Hero(186): small sample size but these are my observations (very early in session)
V1(75): Loose player, opens a good amount PF (in his 50's but doesn't care hes having a good time)
V2(640):Old guy , very tight player
V3(200):Old guy, very tight but not as tight as V2

V1 opens to 7 in EP, other V's call; I look at 1010 on the button and decide to 3! bc I am well ahead of V1's opening range in my mind. I make it 26 total.

they all call , F:782r(106), Checked to me and I overbet (120) to make my hand look like a bluff, AK or AQ type of hand, looking back im not sure I like my sizing here against these player types, I leave myself with around 40 ish behind so basically an all in .

Should I just go 2/3 pot here and re-evaluate if I get called? or is my sizing ok?

thanks in advance

Your 3 bet to $26 is way too small after a $7 raise and 2 calls. 3 bet to more like $40+.

Since the original raiser is a "loose player, opens a good amount PF"...and he only has $75...Im just going to 3 bet to $75.

you want me to 10x his raise here? I don't mind taking a flop IP here , feels like I would only be getting called by better hands if I 10X his raise here

I do think my 26 was a bit small tho

As I said, a normal 3 bet would be in the $40 range, but since hes shortstacked and you believe you are ahead of his range I want to get him heads up and all in. The "10x his raise" isnt important in this situation.

I hear ya , I just don't think I am ahead of his continuing range when I size that big

You dont have to always be ahead of his continuing range for this to be the best play. You have to factor in all the times you steal the $21 (plus $3 in blinds) when they all fold. You also have to factor in the times you raise to $26 and one or more people call you and outflop you which costs you $26 or more.

What are you going to do when you raise to $26-$30 and the flop has 1 or more overcards which it will most of the time?

well im on the button so I will have to fold sometimes but I will always get to see what they do first, I think it is beneficial to be ahead of his continuing range in order to get max value from his inferior hands; uncontested chips are always great tho so you have a good point

lol @ 2 "very tight players" calling $7 and then your 3 bet

one of the V's flat called the 7 and then my 3-bet with KK lol , so I am wondering if I could have lost less money in this hand, ( got stacked) I feel I have to c-bet to deny equity to overcards on the flop
