3 betting suited connectors preflop

So I had one interesting hand tonight where I limped and then three bet a suited 1 gapper against a weak raise and a bunch of callers, I will post the hand below,
However, it has me wondering what everyone else’s thought process is to bluffing preflop.
The hand
H has 5c7c 100 blinds in LJ, LAG image
Two limp, I limp (goal is to keep spr as large as possible and play postflop)
V raises in CO to 6 (55 blinds, we have a history and it seems like a really weird raise for him, I’m thinking he has a small pocket pair)
Three call behind, I make it 40
Only V calls and the rest of the hand is standard and I took it down

I like limp/reraising with hands like this (preferably 76s and more preferably AXs). People give you credit for KK+ really often though I think it works better first to act. Third to act it doesn't really make sense for you to limp/reraise a value hand, but this sounds like a 1/2 game so it's doubtful anyone realizes that.
The limp/reraise bluff must be used sparingly. Getting looked up and making it to showdown is disastrous for future limp/reraise bluffs, though it makes you look like a maniac so you can tighten up and maybe try some lighter value limp/reraises...

With a limp/reraise you are trying to represent a premium hand but with two limpers ahead of you you would not have limped with a premium so the reraise makes no sense and would likely arouse suspicion in your opponents. Also the "LAG" image doesn't help when you decide to go a little bonkers with a weak hand.

I defend the use of the l/rr as much as anyone around here. Like the previous replies already stated though, this really isn't a good spot for it. I understand attacking a weak raise with dead money in the pot, but you tell a much more believable story if you're first or second to act. On top of that, stacks are very shallow and you have a loose image. Once you get called, you're pretty much backed into a corner with a weak holding and forced to jam almost any flop and hope that V hasn't connected with it.

those plays work fine against the right players and are a disaster against those that are the look you up type.
