I play a couple times a week in a pretty juicy 2/5 game where everyone likes to gamble, pots are almost always multiway, and once people put money in preflop, they hate to fold. People limp a wide range, and if you try to isolate a couple of limpers, plan on making it $50 to get it 2 or 3 ways and even then, one caller can get a cascade behind, often bloating pots preflop. 3-bets are 90% KK+, some QQ/AK, and a little JJ/TT. A lot of players will limp-call with AK or fold to any significant action preflop. Others, will happily call $100+ preflop with any two suited and/or connected cards (because, you know, if I hit...) There are a few people who either hate money, or just DGAF about it and will put in massive amounts of money pre with almost any two. I've had aces cracked by 2-7. There was a $100 straddle involved, and we were all-in preflop for ~$500. People generally respond to aggression passively and mostly adopt a "see-where-I'm-at" attitude. If they have a pair they generally call down. If you can beat top pair, best advice is to pile the money in. Most stacks average between $100 and ~$400, although someone on a heater can run up a $1000+ stack, and there is usually one or two people with that amount on the table.
I'm not bragging, I'm just describing the game.
So with that being said... what is a good 3-bet range in this game? What about sizing?
