Villain has a TAG image. Slowly has built up a stack over the past couple hours. Bought in for 300 has roughly 600$ in front of him. Hasn't played any big pots just seems to be running good. Seems to be more passive than aggressive. Flats raises preflop with AK. Haven't seen him 3 bet all session which by now is roughly 6-7 hours.

Hero- def has an aggressive active image. Haven't ran any big bluffs yet. I've def been doing the most raising and 3 betting at the table. No one is exploiting me and my value hands are getting paid off.

I wasn't sure how to post this hand without getting biased comments. For now I am not going to post my hand and see what range you give me and what range villain should continue with.

If there is a better way to do this please tell me for future posts

OTH

v1 (main v)- raises 7$ UTG

v2- calls 7$ UTG+2

v3- calls7$ (MP)

Hero- 3 bets to 37$ (SB)

v1- calls 37$

everyone else folds

should sizing be bigger? im the effective stack with 300$

Pot= 88$

Flop- A103

Hero- checks

V1- bets 40$

Hero- calls 40$

Pot= 168$

Turn- J

Hero- checks

V1- bets 55$

Hero- jams all in for roughly 220$

hows my line?

Spoiler:
QdQh obv turning it into a bluff. solid blockers and I felt I had more value here in a 3 bet pot. also his turn sizing I felt he was capped to Ax 2 pair plus he should go bigger being wet and connected

What hands do you expect to fold

he was pretty tight preflop

his bet sizing on turn was so small that I never had him on 2 pair plus

I felt he was capped to Ax and was trying to keep the pot small

All threads should be posted this way, IMO. Posting hero’s hand biases responses and doesn’t encourage range based thinking.

However, I think you should ask for the range hero should take these actions with and the range we expect villain to have, not the other way around.

I don’t take this line against passive players. All my flop checks are probably check/folds, or not strong enough to check/raise turn, except maybe AJs if I forgot to c-bet. I’m c-betting all KQs. I think villains range for the turn bet is AQ or better. He might fold AQ/AK but I’m not counting on it and never bluffing here.
