V1: Typical ABC. $700
V2: Super sticky. Loves to call and draw and try to hit his hand. $500
H: TAG image. $600

Table is full of gambly regulars. The table has been going crazy about how often the diamond flush has been coming in lately.

Preflop:

H limps UTG with A4. 3 more limp behind and BB checks.

I'm caught up in the hype and excited to hit my diamonds. But regardless, I like playing Ax suited for cheap, although I'd accept that it's a leak to limp from EP with this hand. The table has been limping in half the time so there's a reasonable chance I get to see a cheap flop, but even so, being OOP isn't doing me any favors.

Flop ($23) 942

BB checks. H bets 20. V1 in UTG+2 calls. V2 in UTG+3 calls. LP folds. BB calls.

Pair + nut flush draw! Nice! Let's get some money in there. I'd be happy to commit if someone wants a raising war since I probably have 14 outs.

Turn ($103) 9

BB checks. H checks. V1 bets 55. V2 calls. BB calls. H calls.

Wow, what a terrible turn card. I'm not drawing to the nuts any more. But it doesn't feel like anyone had a set and boated up. Trips seem extremely likely however, probably V1's holding. I intended to fold at first, but when 2 people called the bet, I figured I had the proper odds to draw to the nut flush which was very likely to be good if it hit. And since 2 others called, maybe one of them is drawing to a weaker flush and I can get paid on the river.

River ($323) K

BB checks. H checks. V1 checks. V2 bets 250! BB folds. H calls. V1 folds.

Bink! The diamonds hit again! The table's going to be so impressed! I decide to check since V1 is the aggressor, I'll check/call him since if he bets on this river it's possible he holds a boat. But my main target is V2 who I suspect is drawing to the hot diamond flush too and who I expect to bet. Unfortunately, he bet a lot more than I expected. I can't raise with the board paired and his strong bet so I just call.

Reasonable?

If u can surely 90% or more V2 had a drawing hand, u can raise for value. Of course sometimes it doesnt work, but I do it myself and it works a lot. V1 seems like giving up on river, so high chance he doesnt have boat. Calling is very usual play for everyone. and i guess u did have the best hand. Raising is tricky but in long run, you find out it is working so often since ppl are confusing.

Tough spot all around. This is why i hate drawing hands out of position. With one less player in the pot I probably keep up the aggression ott but 3 people just seems like too many people to bet in to.

If its deeper i probably b/f the river. I dont want trips to get scared and let it check through. As played I think there is value in shoving the river. I think you beat V2 more than 50% and dont see hom folding now. Just let er rip.

Lead for $150-$200 on the river. Fold if V1 shoves, call if V2 does. Not sure about BB given the lack of reads and effective stack.

With 4 of you seeing the river and the flush coming in, I don't think V1 is betting when checked to with something like A9 or Q9, so you're really not missing out on much/any value from him by leading. He's going to play his entire range pretty close to optimally here now that I think about it, regardless of whether you bet or check.... So telegraphing your hand strength to him should not be much of a concern IMO.

You're almost definitely getting more value out of V2 by leading, and probably BB as well. I can see V2 calling with a bunch of hands (any trips, weak flushes) that he might otherwise check behind. This is where you make him pay for his super stickiness.

As played, you're in a weird spot. I would call, and expect to see 44, 22 or 35 pretty often. I don't think you can raise unless you're nearly certain he would both bet that big and call it off with 65dd.
