3/5 live poker in LA. $300 cap buy-in

5 players in this hand.

Hero has ~550. Been getting good cards lately (AA, KK twice in a few orbits) and holding up.

UTG+1 (~700) - young kid, solid tight thinking player

HJ (~150) - recreational player, not a good player, loose but unpredictable at the same time

BTN (~300) - Good player who usually plays the 5/10 game but is sitting here for whatever reason

SB (~150) - seems to play a lot of pots but haven't seen anything out of line from him yet

UTG+1 raises to 15, HJ calls, BTN calls, SB calls, I call in BB with 75

Flop comes K54

SB checks, I check, UTG+1 checks, HJ checks, BB bets 25, SB calls 25.

I think for about 10 seconds and raise to 100.

Spew? Good bluff? Or somewhere in between?

Spew nothing else. Easy fold flop.

Fold pre given these stacks. Doesn't sound like utg1 is shipping it to you often enough either.

Fold pre, fold flop. Seems like you made up your mind preflop that you wanted to bluff. Spaz l/rr against four opponents <100BB is almost always a disaster.

Appreciate the feedback, all. Definitely needed to hear it.

super spewy just call flop, if u turn something that gives u better equity like a heart or 6 then you can c/r and rep a set much more credibly without spewing your chips away

BTN and SB are probably the 2 spots you least want to try get funky with though, in my experience people playing below their normal limit are much more likely to hero call (not necessarily because they're better, they do it too much), not sure how much of that is because they just think they're better and entitled to win the pot, how much is not caring about less money, how much is not wanting to seem like they're getting outplayed in a smaller game etc but it is what it is. Don't go to war with them. SB is of course extremely short and likely not folding.

+1 to this.

I'd pay 4:1 odds that a bluff like this doesn't take it down OTF. The only time this bluff will work is if no one has Kx (or better) and no one has an OESD. BTN and SB might even hero call with a mid pocket pair.

This is a criminally easy fold pre given short stacks and position

These stacks are waaaaaaay too short for you to be profitably making moves like this. This is a 60 bb buy in game. The optimal play is nut peddling.
