V: Plays the game like LHE. Cold calls a raise with K9s, JTs in position or OPP. He is just there to gamble. Limped in and called a raise with Q7o and check-called all the way on the board of QJTxx.

H: Hasn't played a hand so the image is unknown.

4 limpers and hero limps with 67cc. V limps.

FLOP

6T2cc ($30)

Checks to hero, hero bets $20. V shoves for $200. Hero has him covered. Folds to hero. Hero?

Contemplating a fold, Villain flashes a red K. Should this change my decision?

If I put him on higher flush then I am flipping against his flush with my 2nd pair with 2 blockers in my hand. If I put him on a T, I am slight favorite with a pair with FD.

I don't understand. We are a favorite against any hand that has a red K in it.

EDIT: I guess not against KKc, but we're not such a dog that we should fold even if we know that's his hand.

never ever folding here, for the reasons bobman posted. We have 14 outs and now because we know that the villain doesn't have the NFD we are certain all our flush outs are live.

Worse case the Villain has kc6x and it's slightly better than breakeven to call.

You called pre-flop with a crappy hand, received a miracle good flop, and now you're in a slightly +EV spot if you call.

The decision now is obvious.

Hand history makes no sense, V cannot have a Red K with a draw.

V can have a pair KKx as worst case scenario for us, making us 45% to win.

Red K with a T makes us 51% to win.

AK makes us a 82% favorite just for fun.

I see V over-limped now so who knows, I have to believe we are a favorite.

No, it should not change your decision, because your decision is to call regardless He shoved less than 50bb and you have a pair and a flush draw.

vs a range of {KKx, AK,KTx,} we're 55% against
vs a range of {KKx, KTx,} we're almost exactly 50/50

we need to call 180 to win 250, or 1.38:1, which is 42%

call all day

edit: OP said "red K", not "K", though it doesnt matter for the range

Sorry about the typo.

He showed a K.

If he has top pair (pair of tens) with K kicker. (club at that) I am slight underdog.

If he has K high flush draw. I am literally 50/50 with his K high flush draw against my 2nd pair with 2 blockers.
