Hero: Been playing for 4 hours. In for 3 buyins. Got his KK cracked in a 4b pot to 999 otf. Got overflushed. Losing image for first 3 hours. Recently doubled up on 88774 board w/ 86 when river raised was reraised by a 7. Laggy and generally a "mark" at the table. Playing 40/35/10 or so.

V1: sitting directly next to Hero. 40+ white male. Seems to be a reg. Generally tight, but able to make moves. In one straddled pot, called Hero's SB squeeze over 3 limpers from BB with 22 and overshoved OTF on J74r flop to make hero fold.

V2: sitting directly next to V1. 70 yo Asian nit. Folded to hero's 3 bullets OTR on a monotone flop. Changed seats.

Table Dynamic: Not too many 3bing going on. Usual 3/5 table. Half of the preflop open is limping, and half is raising to $20~$25.

Hand:

Folded to Hero ($1100) in CO. Hero has A9 and makes it $25.

V1 ($800) flats.

V2 ($550) from SB comes along.

FLOP ($74)

T63

V2 checks. Hero leads for $55, intending to shove over V1's raise. Felt as if V1 was itching to make another move on Hero.

V1 raises to $160.

V2 tanks for 30 secs and shoves over the top for $525.

Against a set, which is his most likely hand, you need 37%. You only have 25%. Even if you can get V1 to get all his money in OTF you still do not have enough equity. Ez fold, unless you're mad at money.

edit: Post #5 is the real deal.

Did my maths wrong...

We need 26.81%... Still -EV. Still a fold...

If we get V1 to come along for all $775... We need 26.5%... -EV.... Fold
