Villain is WG in his 50s, no reads. 1400 eff. This is 5-500 spread limit so the max bet on any street is 500.

I believe MP has around 1000. His postflop bets are indicative of hand strength.

Hero in HJ with J

Pre:
MP 20, LJ calls, hero calls, Villain on BTN calls

Flop (88) : T

MP 25, hero 100, LJ folds, V cold calls, MP folds

Turn (313) : 3

I feel like V usually has a draw due to flop action.

Most of your flop raises will want to check this turn.
Good to have some flushes in your check range as well.

Also his cold call is very indicative of a better FD. He can easily have KQs here.

Check call turn and river.

Yup, +1. Only going bet bet if I’ve a read that button is a huge fish. Comfortably betting big if turn checks through.

i'll be the contrarian here.

i'll bet slightly above 1/3 pot. If river bricks im betting 1/2 pot ish. And folding if i get raised on turn or river.

I agree it looks like a draw but i feel it could also be a 2pair, oesd or a straight. Or it could also be tptk, given how passive some players are at these stakes.

Theres just so many other hands he can have, reading him for a higher flush just seems MUBSy.

I like a quick check here, balancing a handful of NF combos, with the 2-pr/sets/straight combos that would raise the flop.

X/C turn, X evaluate river action.
