Ur thinking is ABC poker. Now days even good players at 1/2 are beyond that thinking. U r playing 3/5. I think u should downgrade to 1/2 before going busto.

Value bets, save them for small to medium pots with dry boards. Beyond ABC shoves are nuts or bluffs.

He had K8dd. Still unsure about how to play river. I guess just call and usually miss value but occasionally save my stack. One of those hands that just doesn't sit well with me for some reason.

Calling might be okay given that hero is shot-taking. I know we hate to take that into consideration, and I would caution heavily against doing it in any but the rarest cases, but a raise here kind of feels like a raise out of principle. It's hard for us to see how we're beat, but it's hard for us to see how he's going to call with worse.

If we're playing fully bankrolled, I'd either shove, raise small/f or outright flat anyway. Raising this amount only to call it off is bad because we're losing twice as much when we're beat than we gain when we're ahead.

Feels like u r not fundamentally sound, which most of the players suffer. Probably u started running before u can walk really well. PM dgiharris and ask for some tips on improving ur game. Not abt particular hand but in general. And no u r not ready for 2/5 yet. If It's hard to play scared money in 1/2, it's 10 times harder at 2/5.

You really only need to decide if hell call a raise with a ten high flush or worse. Some would. Many wouldn't. You also need to figure out how much worse hell call with. If hell only call or raise with T high flush or better then its not worth a raise even if 1/3 of the time he calls with worse.
