$1/2 Latenight

V. is a young brown guy (Indian?) wearing a lakers jersey and ballcap, a big gold chain and gold watch. He came to our table about an hour ago when the other game broke, has been taciturn, seems to be playing a loose limpy game, possibly stabby after the flop. Stack around $850.

Hero has been opening all of his hands for a raise, really pounding on the limpers and picking up a lot of pots with c bets. V seems to be getting a little irritated. We haven´t shown down any hands. Stack $800ish

OTTH

2 bad EMP limpers including V, Hero raises KQ to $15 in MP2, first limper folds, V calls.

($32.50) Flop: 237

Checked to hero who bets $20, V calls.

($69.50) Turn: 5

V donks $40, Hero raises to $140, V makes it $300, Hero tanks and???

Thanks very much.

I think that I'm ok going to the felt here with V.
He a flush a large portion of the time (sometimes the nut flush, oh well) but sometimes worse flushes. He also occasionally has a straight here, or a set played weirdly.

I'd just cram it in here. It is $470 more into a pot of ~$700 and I don't think that he is going to fold most of that range.

All of this. I realize we're very deep, but given his annoyance at you ruining his plan to see cheap flops and stack fishes, he could be spazzing here, and often thinks of 45dd as the nuts.

Damn, that's tough.

Without more reads, I think this is a fold. Villain clearly thinks he has the best hand. Do you have reason to believe he'd massively overvalue a j-high flush?

What do we think about flatting here to keep smaller flushes and his airballs from folding?

I think he has airballs here basicly never. I'm pretty sure sets are the weakest hand he will show up with.

Assuming we feel he's playing all sorts of suited junk preflop I'm shoving. I'm assuming a read that he has no clue that 400bb with a baby flush is a problem. I'm unclear what read/plan would ever lead us to call>shove.

It's amazing how deep stacked your 1/2 games always seem to be.

Yeah, I kinda picture a soft 2-5 lineup when commenting on his posts.

Am I remembering right that Kookie's game is a $500 max buy-in? That'll get deep quick.

(Also, damn, where is this game?)

As played, I think we're putting the chips in.
Bet $40, raise to $140, re-raise to $300. You've got like $700 behind ($540 if you call the raise).
If we shove, he snap calls the nuts, might fold a small flush. If we call, there are bad cards for us (board pair, another diamond). I don't think V has a set, though a straight feels possible but so does nut flush.
I'm not folding, but I also don't love just jamming the turn. But, I think:
AI-> smaller raise -> call -> fold.
If he has Axdd, bummer. But, unless he expects H to raise every hand, he might have open raised with AJdd, ATdd, even if he's playing a loose limply game. If he had A3dd, he's donk betting flop or check raising flop with pair and NFD. That leaves A4, A6, A8, A9. That's four hands that have us crushed and a whole lot of other hands in his range we beat, so All In. Maybe he has AJ, AT, so six hands crush us. I think we're ahead of his range. Jam.

Yeah $500 max buy in. Game is in the next town over from where GG plays.

Thanks for the replies. Still kinda unsure what the right move was. Anyhoo, here on the results (not that they matter):
Spoiler:
Hero tanked for like 90sec. Decided he wasn´t folding against said Villain, spent a full minute deciding whether to ship or call (with the notion that we are committed on most river cards).

Hero calls.

($628)River: 8

V ships for $485 more, hero calls after a couple of seconds. V says, ''You got me'', hero shows and V flashes 74 before mucking.

It's nice to know kookiefish is not the only spewtard in the pond.
