£1-£2 early in the night. I'm down to £115 and the table is full of passive limpers.

Two people fold and leave the table for a break and I look down at 56 I don't need pre flop advice. Well I probably do but I'm not going to listen.

I am in cut off and raise to £6. Reason for this is I am short stacked, I didn't want to fold, I wanted a cheap flop but wanted the lead in the hand.

Button calls and blinds both call.

Flop 467

Small blind is very good player and plays many different styles, can read players well. He donks small for £5 and is stacked up.

Big Blind folds

I am with 2nd pair and OESD read the donk as a blocker bet because he knows I often continue. I decide to raise him to £20 to basically tell him I did have a good hand pre and I still have a good hand now because he knows me as a LAG.

Button with £300 is a Loose Passive weak gambling player who calls too often but can still play reasonably well. He calls my £20 and small blind folds. so heads up to the turn.

Turn 7 pot £69

This is the main part of my thread. When he calls I have put him on various holdings with several 7's in his hand so when the 7 pairs I think I need to slow down. The question is do I?? I've raised pre, reraised the donk on the flop so to me I'd read myself as better than top pair on the flop. So when the seven comes I don't think he'd put me on the seven and I am concerned he has the seven. Because I fear this I've checked it and he checks behind. Should I have double barrelled considering I have £90 behind? Some turns I would have but didn't want to commit too much with this one.

River 8 I've hit my straight the boards paired but he shown weakness on the turn. Was that because he was weak or was he slowplaying a monster. However I think if I bet I can get him to call with weaker hands than mine Ive definitely seen him do it before and think I should bet for value. I do think personally he would have bet the house on the turn. However with the board paired should I just check call.

If I bet what should the bet size be should it be close to the pot or half pot Should I bet to try and get it in or should I bet to fold?

c/c turn is fine. Bet river when you hit your straight. Tough to b/f given stack. Could b/f like $20 if V isn't tricky and will only raise a boat.

Checking turn is good. Should bet this river strongly for value. Probably not folding to a raise though because it's hard for villain to expect us to have a straight in this spot...so I'm probably betting close to pot and calling any raise.
