Game: Live 1/2
Hand: KQhh
Position: BTN
Stack: 450$
Villain: Table is all really weak and loose, just about every hand is opened to 10$-15$ and goes 5-8 ways to the flop. Some players call with anypair postflop. V in question is 50yo Asian (CO, 400$), he opens really often especially in position (almost always), he plays more straightforward after the flop, not too passive or bluffy, but he is still a weak player on the edges. He doesn’t call big bets with nothing and will often fold to a reraise (he makes a lot of weak bets to try to take the pot down)

Preflop Action: Limped to V who raises to 12$, I call, 4 other players call. (70$)
Flop: V42hhd
Action: Checked to V who bets 25$, I call (not raise because I have so much implied odds when other players call the 25$ and built the pot up), BB calls, MP calls. (170$)
Turn: Ac
Action: BB checks, MP checks, V bets 30$, now it's to me, what should I do?

Also what about the turn flat call?

"Some players call with any pair" is pretty ripe for a semi-bluff on flop, right?

"V makes a lot of weak bets to try to take the pot down"///// are you inducing US to help you validate a TURN semi vs. (assumed) sticky players behind?

PF: What position are we in? Calling is debatable depending on our position and our position relative to the V and the BTN, and the skill of the players to act behind us. Anyway...OK.

F (70): Uh not sure what "V" stands for. So....uh...

I took it to mean Villain's heart was laying out there at center of table with the 4h2d

In my view, this is a good spot for a raise, not knowing exactly what the flop was. I'm assuming two hearts. $30 bet turn bet into $170 pot is just begging for a raise. I'd make it $100. Sets up a perfect river shove whether the draw comes in or not.

Yes I think if I bet on the flop some players might call with weak pairs ruining my FE and also I think I have more implied odds by just calling here.

And I knew some of you would say that... I'm just telling you what my read was, than it's to you to judge if my plan is right. The read on my opponent is actually the reason why I played this way and I just want you to tell me if it's the right play if I have that read. My goal is to get better, I'm not trying to manipulate you, I'm just laying the facts.

It's all written if you can read. I'm on the BTN. And also like I said competition is really weak.

I am sorry for the V on the flop, it's V is actually J in french (Jack is Valet)
so flop was J42

No worries CN3.

If Hero is TAG on the tight side, I can agree with LeGrosB.

I'm sorry I missed what position you were in, but thanks for chastising me for it.

It's find of funny you responded with such as smart ass comment when you screwed up your description of the flop.

Have fun in life, brah!
