20k Downswing. 20k Downswing.

03-02-2015 , 07:23 AM
I've been playing live for a living for about 14 months and haven't had too bad of a downswing at 2/5. Most was 4700. Currently I am in a 20k Downswing and need some advice on how to break out of it.

Take time off.

Drop stakes.

Study.

20k downswing at 2/5 probably means you're not cut out to make a living at this

Don't take it as an insult, it isn't necessarily a slight to your intellect since 95%+ don't have the mindset for longterm profitability, but surely not that many people are dummies. If anything, high winrates typically require that you're a borderline demented weirdo

I'm going to lock this because you can't do a thing about running bad. Usually it is a combination of playing bad as well. Reality is that you may not be good enough to make a living at 2/5 long term.
