SB and Button are friends and have a ton of history with each other. Each views the other as competent, aggressive, and a reasonably good hand reader. SB plays more by feel and is usually fairly LAG, whereas Button was a semi-reg at mid-stakes online before Black Friday and has a better technical/theoretical understanding of the game. Button is more SLAG, but against this SB opens his game up a lot. Both enjoy making plays against the other, and usually play 2-5 in casinos, so 1-2 with a $200 buy-in doesn't feel like much to them.
Button's range in an unopened pot 6-handed is any two cards. SBs calling range will be very wide as well, especially against Button.
Pre Flop: Folded to Button who makes it $10. SB calls with 9c9s. No need to comment on 3-bet or no 3-bet. Obviously 3-betting is an option here but for the sake of deception I suppose SB just flatted. Button would assume SB would be 3-betting here, so some under-repping for sure.
Flop: Pot = $21. Flop is 3d,5,c,8s.SB checks. Button bets $15. SB check-raises to $35. Button calls.
Turn: Pot = $91. Turn is Qd. Board now 3d,5,c,8s,Qd. Pot now SB bets $50. Button calls.
River:Pot = $191. River is Ad. Board now 3d,5,c,8s,Qd,Ad. SB checks quickly. Button thinks for about 5 seconds and shoves for $105.
SB folds? SB Calls? What say you?
Easy fold....I can't see how you are ever ahead. Villain can easily show up with A8, A5 etc and put you on 1010, AJ. Feels like your beat...can't exclude 24 suited either...being its first hand if the night, V is itching to play, AND he is on the button... it's likely any hands I've listed for him drill his range in this case
