Hero: Early 20's Super-Tighter Aggressive player. I usually only playing top 10%, but occasionally I will play weaker hands from the button and cut-off to balance my range. This hand is an example.

Villain: Late 20's, Super-loose aggressive maniac. Has been playing at the same table for a hour. Villain has playing about 60% of hands. Has told hero that he plays just about anything suited, and sometimes shares hole cards. He does not back down, and is down a few buy-ins. Has gone all on a squeeze with Q6s, has 4-bet shoved A3s, and called an all in check raise with a weak draw.

1/2 live.
Hero: $120 on the button with 64s
Villain: $200 in the BB

-Action folded around to hero, who opens for $8
-Villain calls

$17 on the flop

9 4 3 rainbow

-Hero bets $10
-Villain calls $10

$37 on the turn

9 4 3 6 rainbow

-Hero bets $20
-Villain calls $20

$77 on the river

9 4 3 6 Q

-Villain shoves and has hero covered
-Hero has $82

What should hero do?

I am behind 57, 52, a set or a higher 2 pair. Villain likely does not have QQ. Also I hold the 64 so there is a smaller amount of set and 2-pair combinations.

Seems like an easy call against a player described as a maniac. I would bet a bit more on the turn (~$28ish) to set up an under pot-sized river shove.

Yea, I could have bet larger on turn. Idk it is just hard to assign a range to that type of player.

I always stop and think when a fishy player takes a call pre, call flop, call turn, shove river line.

Fold pre. Seriously, your way to short to be playing this hand against a maniac with a wide range.

As played seems like an easy call.

When you are sitting on 60 bb, you cannot be raising these hands.

Turn bet was too small as others noted; the turn card didn't matter much to their range, so let's try to get it all in on turn and river. It's easier to do that if we bet 25-30.

Against a truly loose player this is not near the bottom of your calling range here. Not sure what the question really is.

call. not close. clear call.

Get a seat so he is on your right imo. Try to play pots with him and just go with the hand if you hit top pair, maybe even middle pair.

Top off your stack to 200 so you can get all his money.

inv me to game sounds great
