2/5NL is this too nitty? 2/5NL is this too nitty?

1st hand at the table

UTG, UTG+1,UTG+2 all limp
hero in HJ with JQo folds.

Typically I play tight.

If it folded to me I’d open. But considering the limps and my limited info I don’t know if these limps are suspicious.. I figure Id be playing multiway if I raise and dont typically limp along.

Let me know what you guys think.

I'd always raise this against unknowns. Their limping ranges are garbage.

You’re probably right. Thanks.

Anyone know where I can find some raise vs limp ranges?

Yes absurdly nitty. Even gg would limp along here so that’s all you need to know.

Folding is fine, though a raise to $30-35 would be a preference.

What are stack sizes like? If effective stacks are short then folding is fine. If stacks are deep then limp in, if nothing else you can fish for a favorable flop. Raising sometimes is fine also but I'm not a particular fan against total unknowns. I don't like raising, hitting one pair and be left guessing when somebody calls.

Was the OP edited? I thought I responded to a question about KQo, and now it says QJo, which is considerably weaker.

Probably since it says JQo. If original would probably say QJo.

It did say KQo previously.

I like folding QJo here. These are not the massively +EV spots you’re looking for. No need to invest chips in such a precarious spot. Just let the hand go.

If we have a suited QJ I like a raise for balance.

If we have a KQo I like a raise for value.

I fold QJo here. If I know the whole table is super passive and we are unlikely to face a raise and also stacks are deep, I will limp in.

QJo is whatever, depends. KQo cannot be a fold.

Yes this fold is criminal. Position position position. You only get the HJ or better 33% of your hands. One of the biggest weaknesses players have (particularly in this forum) is too much focus on hand strength and not enough on position.

Lol at all the people saying that QJo in the HJ is a "standard open".

This hand is basically the very bottom of our CO opening range. It's a clear fold in the HJ, especially after a few limpers, who are sometimes protected with hands as strong as AJ.

I would limp with them but that makes me a lightweight. I think JQ off is trash too.

With very little FE in most games, folding in this spot is fine.
