I mentioned in an earlier post that I thought opening 44 in MP was long-term -EV. It's a marginally +EV c-bet in a HU pot like this and we certainly aren't winning many pots when we get calls behind and don't flop a set, so where is our value coming from?

If a hand is too weak to c-bet on most flops it should probably be removed from your PFR range.
Cbetting 100% opens you up to huge problems.

If you think you can taylor a preflop range, so you can correctly cbet 100%.

Your wrong. Even heads up. And your likely not getting HU often with open from MP

Who said anything about c-betting 100%? You are either incredibly dense or trolling so I'm gonna bow out of this one. I've made my points pretty clear.

Heads up I can't think of a hand I wouldn't c-bet IP against a call from the blinds from a person who has no reads on us because they are new to the table.

What exactly is it that you'd ask her, which would tell you whether it's 9x or a boat?

Is the reason your seeing alot of good players. Defending their blinds realley wide vs MP opens

Not trolling. Just fishing for debate.

You think cbetting 44, is standard and profitable. I disagree.

You called me troll, instead of putting in rebuttal.

You deny equity to low equity hands by a cbet. But accomplish nothing else

I'm calling $600 or less, folding to anything more than that. I expect villain to show up with random trip 9's a good portion of the time here, but then I expect to run into higher boats and weirdly played quads a lot too.

I'm curious about this too... I'm awful at live reads. I know that when someone acts weak then sigh raises, it's generally a monster, but that's about it.

Even if V sigh-raises in this spot, it means nothing because 9x or boat, both are the nuts in V's eyes.
