So I think calling river in both spots would probably be best, vs someone capable of doing that. Not sure the 44 player would be capable. But with a bet/bet/bet line I have no chance of getting away from the hand and I don't give him the opportunity to bluff.
Wouldn't it be easier to get away from the hand if your plan is a bet/bet/bet line? They usually raise the turn when they have it. When that happens you don't have to worry nearly as much about a bluff and can safely fold more often.
