2 5, I sat out for 20 minutes and just posted from the cutoff with 8s 5d. I have 600

I call as do 2 other people. Nitty bb with 450 makes it 30. 2 early limpers call and I call.

Flop is 8d6d9d. Big blind bets 60, 2 other people fold, I?

You fold it preflop and be done with it

Provide a reason for your call preflop and maybe you'll get some good strat advice.

I take a ton of liberties with preflop calls in position when playing deep. But with less than 250-300BB I can't see any reason to call. Even at 300BB+ I don't think I could make up a good BS reason to call. Especially against a nitty open who is not going to pay you if you hit a monster.

If you are going to go for the spewmaster play here, flat the flop and evaluate his betsize on the turn. If it's weak, click it back, he calls and checks to you on the river, stuff the river if it's a non-diamond. If it's strong, let it go, he's not folding. If he checks, bet 150, and stuff non-diamond rivers if he is still around.

I'd prefer option b) fold pre fold flop

Obv pre is marginal at best. I posted this because I think there could be a case for raising the flop with middle pair, a low flush, and a weak straight draw. I guess you don't agree?

No, pf is a fold, ainec. The main reason is that you have no reads on the villain at all. We don't even know if the villain is male or female, let alone young/old, how they're dress, how neat are their chip stacks did they look at their hand once and whether they are able to cut the chips or counted them out. I bring these up because these are reads you have the first hand. No excuse not having them at all.

LLSNL is about obtaining fat value by making a big hand and betting. But we don't know how the villain will respond to a raise or a call. When we don't know, we shouldn't be making any "sick" moves. Just fold. Anything else is spew.

Don't post in the cutoff, fold pre.

Fold pre.
If you have to pay to post in, then I'd just wait to be in your BB.

If you're going to misplay the hand pre flop, might as well mis play the flop and shove. You have some FE and might get over pairs or two pairs to fold.
