Its one of those games that are so loose, players are calling with all kinds of crap. 10x Raise, guy calls with 56o. 5x raise gets called with Q5s. Any naked flush draw is getting called all the way to the r. Great right? I play like you are supposed to play in this game. Super tight, find the starting raise that is big enough to get me down to 1-2 callers, then print money!(hopefully) This night, its late, we are down to 8 players left in the game. Out of the seven players I am up against, two are VERY good LAG players. One guy even has two WSOPC rings. The other five are total fish as explained above.

One of the better players open raises to $65 from MP1 (He would do this with JJ+AQ+, I put him on QQ or AK, Because AA,KK he raises a bit more, JJ,AQ a bit less)
MP2-Fish- Calls
HJ- Hero has AJo- FOLDS, Knowing there was a high probability that another player would call and there was a GOOD chance that a 4th player would call as well.

I have been trying to control my profit better. I'm stuck in a cycle. Scoop monster pot. Then for the next 90 minutes My stack size slowly falls. Until BOOM! Another huge pot. Then starts all over again. I always profit. But I should be doing better more regularly . Example,Calling $20 raise w99, the flop - KsTs7h. With four players and 2 staying in against me to the river, 99 gets mucked after cb. There's a lot of $15-20 preflop raises that get folded on the flop. Or get folded when their naked flush draws hit, after I'm betting them 1/2 pot street by street . All those little things eat up a chunk of the monster pot I just won. So, I'm trying to control this. So, is this the type of situation that SHOULD be folded (especially because its getting late)? Or because of the odds, see a flop? Wow, and the implied odds are huge. I hit 2Pair on flop vs AK. Or AJ vs. A5. I'm getting paid off. But because of the players and the "showdown" poker, in this game, half my profit gets slowly bled away. Thanks for your input!!!

Given that you put the opener on a premium, AJ becomes a fold (due to RIO among other things). If your stack is dwindling, you do not need to play a lot of smaller pots if you don't want to. In a game like this, you will find action even if you fold for an orbit or two.
