Hand 1 I probably flat flop here, I save shovelling money in for when I have a stronger hand. Also I’m folding pre because our hand is not great and we’re not HU vs. super whale. I call KTss though so it’s not like I’m that down on it.

Hand 2 is unlucky IMO. Quick question, is superwhale generally coming in for a raise? Because I may LRR here if he’s reliably bumping it up pre.

Both are bad beats. You did the right thing by piling the money in on earlier streets though.

H1 looks good. H2 I would strongly consider limp reraising depending on the table dynamics. Assuming the whale is raising pre a lot or other villains are raising a lot pre to iso the whale it’s a sweet spot to LRR and iso the whale. Also, when we open UTG and the whale flats +2, I’m surprised we didn’t see an avalanche of calls from people in later position.

I would almost always fold this pre. But the guy was so terrible so it’s really close when we’re closing the action. OTF, his cbet of 25 into 125 is absolute garbage, and the old guy calling behind can never have 2p+, so I felt a xr was ideal in this situation. I don’t even know if I should be upset about this hand because I got it in as a fav OTF and OTT.

No, he would do it maybe 7/10 times which is why I just opened myself knowing he will always call and then continue with any piece. Wanted to build the pot up quickly.

And I guess it wouldn’t matter because he wasn’t folding 75o to a l/rr, not tonight.

7/10 is often plus someone else may raise as a back up plan for the 3/10 occasions. I'm not GG though so not saying it's mandatory
