hero opens AQ to $20 in hijack. villain in BB 3 bets to $60. hero calls

flop is 4 6 8 ($123)
BB bets $45 hero calls

turn is T ($220)
BB bets $110 with only about $140 back. hero folds


Hand 2:
CO is a spaz lag who hero played with 6 months ago. doubt he remembers me. he just joined the table 10 mins and has already opened a few times

hero and co have $500

CO opens to $20. tight player on button calls.
hero makes it $70 in BB with KJ co calls. button folds

flop is Q95 ($162)
hero bets $110. co calls $110

turn is 4 ($382)
hero all in for $320

Hand 1: Not knowing anything about villain you can go ahead and fold flop. Yes his bet is very small but you have no idea what outs you have here. Depending on villain fold, call flop and fold turn if he continues and raise flop might all be correct. With villain having a short stack and you having no idea where you stand just get out quickly.

Hand 2: You got into this hand with the plan of bluffing and you carried through. Don't try this sort of thing very often but if you know villain has a fold button then it's OK occasionally.

Id use the label "spaz lag" a bit more cautiously if I played hands like your #2.

PS...your 3 bet is quite a bit too small with KJo OOP after a raise and call.
