I've been at the table about 45 mins and been on a big heater so far. I'm about $1500 deep. Villain seems a bit laggy/spewy. Raising tons of hands and calling lots of 3bets. Looks like he knows how to play though. Postflop has played pretty ABC and made a few big (correct) folds. He's about $1,250 deep.

5 limpers to me on BTN with 75o, I limp, BB checks, 6-way to flop.

Flop 469r
Checks to MP (villain), he bets $20, I call, HU to turn.

Turn 8
MP bets $65, I think for about 30 seconds then make it $185, he calls.

River 4
Villain quickly checks, Hero ? ? (still about $1100ish left)

Std bet/fold ?

this looks more like one pair with a 7 or a turned two pair more than a boat. How did he react to your turn raise?

That being said, I make a smallish bet - $230 or so. He'll make a crying call with 2 pair and fold everything worse. You don't have the nut straight, either, but you'd expect him to reraise you with it on the turn, right?

If he raises there, what are you going to do?

Yeah, I'd vbet small and hope for a crying call from 96 or A9. You'd think he would lead if filled up on the river.

When I raised on the turn he thought for a while - over a minute - before calling. He looked like he was going to fold a few times.

b/f around 200 or so I would say, consider raising flop if villian is willing to fold to resistance as well IMO.
