$2/5 200-500

Villain 1 ($800) 60's white guy. Started drinking whiskey. Likes to call although he'll randomly limp and fold to small raises. I've seen him bluff busted flush draws on the river twice already, but I don't think he's going rep draws. Usually plays his hands fairly fast if he flopped something big.

Villain 2 ($425) 20's white guy. Playing way too aggro and bad. Cold 4b TT preflop and a super weak tight guy 3b/folded AKs. He also bet $35/shoved $400 in a $50 limped, straddled pot on KQJhh. I had T9 and raised/called the flop. Board ran out Jx3x (no heart) and I won and he didn't show. If he had a flush he's not checking turn.

Hero ($950) Stacked villain 2 in the hand above. Other than that haven't really got a ton of hands. Earlier I raised QTdd over 2 limps and a nitty woman limp/called. She check/called AQ on QQJss, then it ran out 6s 5s - she donked like 1/4 pot OTT and checked river, I checked and we both showed and she won.

2 limps, villain 2 limps, hero overlimps K J, villain 2 calls OTB, blinds check

I often raise this but the players were pretty terrible and didn't fold so I just wanted to play a pot in position while keeping their dominated hands in.

$35 7 ways
Flop: Q T 4
Villain 2 bets $25, hero calls $25, Villain 2 calls $25

$110
Turn: Q T 4 A
Villain 2 checks, hero?

Do I bet small here? Villain 2 could have something but be afraid of the flush. He could have any q.

Unless villain has a set, I don't really have to protect against anything with my straight + NFD. I'm thinking I could bet something like $50 and encourage someone with QxJd to call, maybe j9 might call again etc where if I bet big they might be afraid I have a flush already.

Also if V2 somehow does have a flush, if I bet smaller and get raised the raise will be smaller and I can call more easily.

Do you ever check here and bet river? I guess it sucks to get raised but if I'm against a flush I only have 7 outs anyway.

Or do I just make a standard big bet and hope to get called by worse.

Grunch.

What are positions?
You said v2 limped, you called, v2 called OTB...

I don't like just limping (in CO/HJ?) why not raise here pre (to see where we stand/take initiative, first off) if you want to play a pot in position? Get that value, son!

Um, not sure which villain is betting and which one is calling but I would still probably lead out here for like $65-75 if you said "These players are terrible and don't fold anything so I wanted to keep their dominated hands in." so, if they do indeed call light then I don't see why they wouldn't call a bet here? A pair and any draw will probably call here so bet, and probably call most raises..

I mean... I guess you could check/call here... But if they're bad, I can see a JdXx calling your bet here for that royal draw or straight calling and you're free rolling. Also a set will def call but be scared of the flush. If the river doesn't pair, bet again. You have a Kd so that eliminates one ... Probably not folding unless they go way over the top..

IMO

I bet 75 and never folding. Someone could have made 2 pair OTT.

Always remember the point of betting. You're betting the turn for value here as you have a very strong hand and will be getting called by worse a lot.

Also, I agree with raising pre-flop. I'm not a fan of playing limped pots with hands like KJ, KT,QT, etc. If you're going to play it in position after a few limps, raise pre. Never skip raising pre because "they never fold". Remember that getting called by worse pre is exactly what you want.

Not sure why I said "am calling most raises unless they go over the top", cause I'm always calling here no matter what.
