FYI, this is Hero's first day playing 2/5. The room is small and all the regulars tend to know one another. Hero is no doubt known to be 'playing up' here, and I expect to be targeted a fair amount.

General: Table is a little less loose passive pre than my typical $1/3, but lots of limping still. Play is fairly fast and agro post.

UTG is weak, loose passive player. Overvalues TP, and chases draws.
SB is weak passive calling station.
Others are unknowns.

OTTH:

UTG ($450) limps
UTG +1 ($1200) Raise to $20
HJ ($800) calls $20
CO ($1800) calls $20
SB ($250) calls $20
Hero in BB ($550) calls $20 with A 10
UTG calls

Pot $120.

Flop: 3 7 10

SB checks
Hero checks
UTG bets $40
UTG +1 calls $40
fold
fold
SB calls $40

Hero is faced with calling/raising/folding $40 into a pot of $240. At this point I consider it very likely to have the best hand. UTG donking into the raiser could be a 10x, 89, or set. 2 Pair is less likely on this flop, but possible. The fact that the PF raiser flats the small donk bet inclines me to think that he is not holding JJ+.

Hero?

ATo is going to play terribly OOP in multiway pots and this hand is a good example why. You've probably flopped a top 5% flop for your hand and have no idea what to do because anyone could be slow playing 2p+ or just floating along with Tx, 99, 88, 7x, 98, 65s with BDFD etc.

You were presented a very very nice squeeze preflop. I'd strongly consider seizing the opportunity next time.

I would have 3!/folded preflop to $150.

As played, flip a coin. You're probably good here so raise/fold to $150-200.

+1. Big time money loser to just call this pre.

Thanks guys.

I opted for a raise/fold to $150.

Utg calls $110.
Fold
SB calls $110

Pot: $610

Turn: 3 7 10 , 8

SB leads $80 and is all in.
Hero sigh calls. UTG folds.

SB rolls 6 9 and scoops.

I'm going to need to improve the play pre for sure. I think I'm struggling to make some adjustments from the 1/3 game. A lot of my opponents raise range is so strong that 3 betting is often a way to value own myself.
