Local 2/5 game. Game just started so the game isnt too deep yet... I'm in MP1 and pick up AJdd, I raise to 25$, my stack size is 450$

V1 calls from HJ, CO calls, V2 also calls in SB.

V1 is a rec player who is a regular in the room, just a normal rec player I would say, I dont have a ton of history with his player. V1 has a stack of 400$

V2 is a fishy sort of player. I have played with this player before, examples of his sort of play would be calling a 3bet for half his stack with K10o OOP. Also seems to love draws. His stack is 150$

Flop goes 4 ways for 100$, cards fall Jc10c4d. Being OPP I'm more inclined to check here but I feel in this case my hand is strong enough to bet for value. with TPTK and backdoor flush and straight draws. I bet 50$

V1 calls, CO folds... SB jams for his remaining 125$.

Back on me. I'm never folding vs. V2 but how does hero handle V1.
His flat call of my flop bet doesn't necessarily scream tons of strength. He could have called with a variety of hands I'm beating like Jx,10x and even draws. Pot size with V2s jam is 325$ and Heros remaining stack is 375$ and V1's is 325$

Go go go. Board looks draw heavy, don't think anyone is made yet.

OP, we're not folding, so your options are to flat or jam. flatting gives v1 too good of a price to draw, and with the pot this bloated, v1 calling and seeing a turn would often cause problems for us.

do we expect to get value from v1 when we jam? no. but it's still the best play by far. this is an example of where rather than betting for value or as a bluff we are betting to fold out v1's equity.

Ok awesome. I knew for certain I was not flatting. I though folding was too weak, so I did jam. Unfortunately V1 snapped with 1010. I felt I played the hand well just got unlucky....
