2/5 Should we bet the turn here? 2/5 Should we bet the turn here?

I've been playing extremely tight today and have only shown down 3 times in 3 hours or so

Villain is a very good reg, by far the only player I'm worried about. He has been pretty active but mostly running good today. Has had a bunch of big hands.

So 90% of the time i am more than happy to flat pre, but i have had 4 or 5 suited connectors on the button today and havent flopped a thing. I did have 78s and flopped a flush draw but had to pitch it on the turn to a full pot bet.

I had KQs one time and flatted the button to villains $25 EP open, bb came along.

Flop Jd8d7h check, check, i check it back

Turn 7 bb bet 55, v folds, i fold face up (though i considered raising or just floating)

The only other hand Ive showed down is QdTd which i defended the bb with and made a flush on the turn

Hero (1200) dealt JT

UTG1 limps, villain raises to 30 from MP1, folds around to hero raises to 100, folds back to v who calls

J84

Checks to hero, bets 130, v calls

A

V checks

PF raise size is a bit too big in position. I'd make it more like $80.

This hand does seem like a good candidate to bet and check-behind any river we don't improve on. It's really hard for our opponent to try and bluff us and we don't block any club draws.

I'd bet/fold something like $225.

I'd check back any showdownable hand with a in it.

At 240bbs deep, your hand is ideal to call and play the BTN.

As played, the A hits your 3-b range solidly so I'd bet ~1/2 pot. If called, likely done unless improved otr. Depending on your cbet frequency, I'd consider checking back the flop.
