2/5 river top pair after barreling

2/5 last night I got villain coverd he has about 800. He’s an older guy who limps or opens most hands and floats flop and turn and usually shuts down. I’ve been 3 betting him a lot. He’s about 50/50 as far as calling or folding to 3bets, he will prolly call with any ace or suited connector.
Villain limps utg, 2 other limpers, I make it 45 with AdKs.Folds to villain who calls. Other limpers fold.
Flop ($107) QhJh6c. He checks I bet 40 he calls.
Turn ($187) 2d. He checks I bet 125. He tanks a little bit and throws out 225 because two 100 dollar chips were stuck together. He says no I only want to call and gets visibly nervous and jittery. The dealer looks at me and asks if I want her to call the floor and I say it’s her descion I don’t care. She says it’s just a call.
River ($337) Kc. He bets 400. And throws the chips pretty high into the air lol. And then starts shaking a good amount.

Bet whatever you’d bet with AQ on this flop. If you say $40 I’m not going to believe you.

Have no real idea what he has, it's an odd line, but shaking is most often a strength tell and you can't call this type of bet from this type of player anyway.

Flop is meh but ok vs oop limper. If we were oop i’d x/f

Shaking tell from an older guy is always the nuts. Hope you didn't pay this off.
Also $40 on the flop seems too small. This bet reeks of weakness. V missed a great spot to checkraise bluff you.

There are some flop textures where $40 might make sense. This is not one of them. Size up or check on flop.
As played I am not calling this river. You have to be good over 50% of the time and I don't think you are. Lot of 2pair and straight combos you lose to.

I forgot to mention I’ve seen him over value top pair twice before, so even though we block K10, I didn’t dismiss it as a possibility. But I folded and he showed A10, I agree with you guys def should bet more on flop, I think he folds to like a 200 dollar turn bet.
