1/2 ATo Middle Position 1/2 ATo Middle Position

Hero has ATo in a full ring 1/2 game. Has a decent TAG image at this point. Villain is also a decent player to the best of my ability to read. Not too loose, not too tight. Bet sizing seems appropriate. Both Hero and Villain have 100bb's for stacks

Hero ATo middle position. Opens for 3.5bb raise. Villain acts in next position, calls. All remaining fold.

Flop A34 rainbow. Hero bets 1/2 pot. Villain calls.
Turn 5 for A345

Hero?

Check the flop. A decent villain doesn't have a lot of worse Aces, (or any if he's actually good). 55-JJ will likely call a street, but our hand is not strong enough to bet three streets for value. The flop is a good street to check since we're not vulnerable to the hands he folds to a bet.

So my general strategy in this position is to bet my made premium hands and good draws, check/call my marginal hands and check/fold my junk.

In this case I may have overvalued my top pair here? Top pair with a good kicker is typically a made premium hand worthy of betting out (particularly as preflop aggressor).

Bet or x/c are both fine here. Betting is probably a bit better in most live 1/2 games.
