2/5 QJ off Middle pos. Raise

Hero- (450)White late 20s been playing tag, picked up some hands recently that didn't make it to SD so I assume that some of the table views me as aggressive.

Villian 1(125)Old white guy been limp calling everything and raising lil more than average seems like hes just there gambling.

One limper to hero in mp with QJ I make it 25 folds to Villain in small blind who calls along with the limper who has 300 behind

Flop(75) Q7K Both check to Hero I bet 45, Villain shoves for 55 more limper folds, How do I not call this???

CHECK BACK FLOP, what hand does he call w that we beat? what turns are we afraid besides exactly an Ace if we aren't beat already?

Call this here if he's as loose as you say. but most 'old white guys' I've ever played w have pretty much AA, KK here every time. I don't have stove running right now, but just a quick guess is that we have 5 twice for 20% equity probably 75%+ of the time and have to dodge JT, AT AJ the remaining amount.

Agreed on checking the flop here because you have to be conscious of your opponents stack size. He couldn't possibly call here and this wasn't exactly the hand you want to throw another $100 in the pot for.

It's 55 more for 220 so 4:1. You probably have to call the extra $55 here but these are the types of plays that turn you from a winning player to even/losing. Should be $100 more in your pocket.

I don't see the problem with betting here.
We might get looked up by straight draws, and weaker Queens. Esp if V is the type to gamble. Hell he might even look us up with lower PP's.
People do dumb stuff.

Once he shoves, put a reasonable range of hands into poker stove and see if you have the right equity:

77, KQ, KT, KJ, AK, JT, AT, AJ, Q7, K7. Maybe throw in 1-2 combos of lower PP's for some random 'bluff with little equity' factor.

I'm assuming that he never shows up here with AA-QQ.

No further action or aggression

55/265 = just under 5:1 odds

I find a call. I would prefer folding PF to avoid this spot, but here we are.
