Button straddles to 10
CO calls.
Hero makes it $40

CO and Button call.
Check, bet 1/3rd pot, 1/2 pot, or 2/3rd pot.?

Pre is way too small if you're gonna squeeze at all. 60 pre minimum. Also don't understand pre how CO calls before you in bb.

I’m confused. If the button straddled wouldn’t you act before the cutoff?

BU straddle causes action to skip the blinds at Venetian. BU acts in turn if UTG-CO raise, otherwise action goes UTG-CO, SB-BB, BU.

Interesting. Out here the blinds act first and the button acts last on button straddles.
I don’t think Venetian had button straddles when I last played there

Agreed 40 may have been a bit low. I elected for a $60 cbet on flop, co folds, and button raised to $170 essential pot commiting himself. Now I'm left with a decision to fold, shove, or call.
I think with something like a10dd+this is a snap shove, but I felt lost in this spot.

Vegas is weird with several card rooms having different rules for button straddles at different places. Not sure where a button straddles is the least -ev.

I'm pretty sure getting in 100+ BB here on the paired board with a Qhigh flush draw is -ev. AP its a clear cut fold to the raise.
