2-5 game just sat down, maybe played 4 or 5 hands. One I had ace king got it w a short stack on dry flop and hit my king otr to win
Hero is in the small blind. I have only played with 1 person on the table and I have no reads but for the most part I think people view me to the tighter side of TAG.
Villain 1. No reads just lost, went to the window to rebuy for 200
Villain 2. Is a crazy Asian, that seems to give action and goes nuts when he loses and also has no issues telling someone they made a bad play. He probably has around 500 to start the hand ( I couldn't see his exact stack from my seat)
Villain 3. Zero reads either seems to be on the looser size just based on physical tells (nicer clothes, nice watch)
Ott
1 limp, villain 1 limps high jack, villain 2 limps cut off and villain 3 limps button. Hero makes it 60 w qq (don't have the queen of spades) bb, straddle and first limper fold. All villains call.
Flop (260) is j72sss
Hero checks, villain 1 ships 140 all in. Villain 2 takes forever, counting out a call and putting it back into his stack, and ends up folding. Villain 3 pretty much instant ships it for 230 total.
Hero? I'll post my results in a few but I would like to know if anyone would actually lead this flop
Considering a stack to pot ratio of 1:1 I'd label this a call. Not a slam dunk, but we only need to be good 28% to justify it, and with TP and draws in play we have that.
Also, having not even played a full orbit, it's way short of early to jump to conclusions such as "I think people view me to the tighter side of TAG."
Pre i probably make it more. You have 4 limps to you so I make it 75.
What's your stack size?
In game I probably sigh call knowing I have half the deck to dodge probably. Villains don't always have sets or flushes here. Especially bc they are relatively short stacked. Lots of jx with a spade and ace of spades with or without a pair I expect.
I ended up folding pretty quickly. I was going to call before the button shoved. The board bricks out and villain 1 shakes his head and says I have nothing and villain 3 shows pocket 9s w 9 of spades for the winner.
After talking it over w some friends I think I should have lead small (110) and shipped brick turns.
Jam flop. SPR is 1 against 2 players, and 2 against a super loose Asian. Never ever fold. Checking is bad since it lets people draw for free if it checks around.
