Had a great session yesterday but I feel like I left alot of value on the table.

I am in position in this hand.

Effective stacks 1k min for all people included.

V1, BB: Loose aggressive was calling hands down light and would just take a stab at a pot if he felt people didn't have anything.

V2, UTG: Didn't have much of a read. Tight passive.

V3, UTG+2: MAWG, no read. Seemed like a good player.

H, HJ: Tight player. Haven't shown down anything apart from a KJss hand with another V who left on a J 8 4 board.(one spade) And a 6s came on the turn. He raised, I called. He checked, I bet, and he called. On turn he shoved I called. He didn't show and left.

Limps to hero, who raises to 35$. Everyone else calls.

Board:

4d 5d 4c. (142$)

V1 donks 65$. V2 tanks then calls. V3 snap calls.

Hero? I wanted to raise but I wasn't going to call any reraise so I decided on flatting here. with the plan to c/c to the river on any non diamond card.

Turn: 2c, checks around.(~400$)

River: Jh. V1 checks, V2 bets $400. Hero?

A5, 55-88, 23, 67, 63, 78 are all there. A buddy of mine said I have to bet the turn there for at least 150$ and fold to a raise from anyone who is trying to protect their trips. If it's just a call then I would fire again on a non-diamond river.

I like the flop call. The turn is definitely a bet/fold. I would size it at $225-250.

4-way is bad (raise more pre?), but this is a great flop - second only to hitting a set. You fear only four combo's - 5's and 4's. Somebody might have tried to set-mine with 10's from EP, but it's unlikely and they are shouldn't be that confident about it.

Raise the flop to $220. You may get called from draws, and you have left yourself room to fold if a club hits the turn. I'm not too worried about V1 (LAG taking a stab) or V3 (quick call), but a re-raise from V2 is something to look out for.

Pre is fine. Call flop.
Turn I would bet if it was 2 or even 3 way. 4 way is a little more sketchy as there is a higher chance of someone having a better hand, and the turn does complete a draw, plus the flop is paired so you could be drawing virtually dead. At this point I am just hoping for a free showdown.

As played, fold river to a big bet by the passive tight player. However, if the laggy player capable of stabbing bets and it's folded to you, i might consider calling.

I agree with bobman0330. Definitely bet/fold the turn. As played fold.

Flop: Not planning to call a 3 bet is not a good reason for not raising. You gotta go for more value. If someone had a 4, they are raising that small bet on such a drawy board imo. The only thing I am really worried about is a boat. Tons of worse hands can call you and there are a lot of turns that totally kill your action. The time to make money is now imo.

Also, depending on the player, you can absolutely call a 3 bet here. I mean look at his 3betting range. A 4 probably would've bet larger or raised the weak bet and a full house will probably continue to slow play. If the 3 better is somewhat on the gambly side, I expect the 3 bet to be 67hh, 68hh, 78hh, A+over hh, a vast majority of the time. Obviously if it's a total nit then yea, you're toast.
