Perfect board to get stacks in and you screw it up by donking.

What about the times that an ace or king hits and you take a pot away from a V with JJ-KK? I would say this happens somewhere close to 10-15% as well for me. But I’m thinking we have different approaches and that’s fine.
I wouldn’t call 22-66’s or so against a really solid player, but against this type of V who has raised once in a few hours? Everytime, and get stacks more often than not when hitting sets. Longterm +EV for me I’m sure.

Assign a small probability to getting oversetted and losing your stack 2/5 perfect flop, how to get stacks in?

And considering u only flop a set 1 out of 10 times.

Quickly becomes a fold imo
Try 1 out of 8.5 times. 15% more than you apparently think. Thats a pretty big difference

That too.
Also, what about the connected low flops where the turn brings another scare card on a 4-5-7 board? Or 4 card flush draws when V has the wrong suit/color?

Well, you're right about one part of this sentence. Probably not the part you think though.

Imagine ever folding pre here. Rack up immediately boring nits.

Calling 5% effective stacks with 99 is fine. Half the board is nits and probably has a win rate sub $50 an hour at 2/5. You can’t fold in this spot as in live poker you get so many few playable hands you need to take your spots.

As played you need to put him on an over Pair hopefully or Ak.

You’re never getting AK to call if you lead unless he is tilted.

So checking is your best play on this board. He will bet almost all his hands so check raising is the play And jam turn.

Half the board has a win rate of sub $50/hr? Try 1/2 the board are losing players.

Yes it is. And those are the people that probably give good advice.

It depends how deep it is. $1000 cap with a healthy card room it’s doable. Most people that make that win rate move up quickly so I guess it is rare to see. Still most people on this board just give a lot of poor advice and probably have poor win rates.

the solution to people raising too big and playing too tight is not to vpip more, its to
Spoiler:
fold pre
there isnt much you can do against an overpair heavy range in a 10 spr pot. this obviously changes if they are playing loose.
